The Kimosh Kamow's (7-1) won the 2002 Women's Intramural Basketball Championship with a well earned 43-20 victory over the Tarheels. Led by co-mvp's Wendy Haker (9 pts) and Rosie Tamoya (10 pts), Kimosh broke the game open early in the second half and kept the Tarheels from making any sustained run. The win also avenged their only loss of the year, a 59-44 loss to the Tarheels on February 12th. The Tarheels, led by Jessica Workman and Erin Grunhuvd, closed out a great season at 4-3.
