The career development process can be exciting, frustrating and life-changing; sometimes all at once. We encourage you to support your student and participate in the process.

Your relationship with MSU Billings does not end at graduation! Whether it’s through our new and improved website; our electronic newsletter, The Alumni Jacket; our annual golf tournament; our partnership with the Office of Career Services and their Alumnet mentorship program; our many alumni socials held across the country, or our premier event, the annual Outstanding Alumni Awards—the MSU Billings Alumni Association
Lifetime Learning Credit
The Lifetime Learning Credit is an IRS law that allows people to take a tax credit (not a deduction) on their annual taxes. There is an online form in the self-serve area HERE that is updated every January with the last year qualified tuition and fee and the applicable financial aid (scholarships, grants, etc.) that reduces the credit. Loans do not reduce the credit because you repay them. Business Services will mail a form to all students at the end of January.
Parent & Family Programs advises you to seek help from a professional tax accountant for a better understanding of the law or credit.
