Spring 2008 Student Teachers

FEB 20th UPDATE ~ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The location of the March 14th seminar has changed to the Student Union Ballroom


Mandatory Seminars and Orientation to Student Teaching

  • January 4, 2008 ~ 9:00–2:00 ~ COE Room 427
  • March 14, 2008 ~ 9:00-2:00 ~ Petro Theatre

Attendance is optional for student teachers placed out-of-state or beyond a 250 mile radius of Billings.

Student Teachers not attending the seminars and orientation are responsible for all information, as outlined, in the Student Teaching Guidebook.

Student Teaching Applications

Applications for Fall Semester 2008 will be available for download in late January.

Eligibility:

  • Admission to the Teacher Education Program

  • Meet or exceed all GPA requirements

  • Submission of a Federal Criminal Background Check (fingerprints)

  • Fingerprinting and Federal Criminal Background Check Information

  • Completion of all coursework (except EDF 450/515 and ART 499) by the beginning of the student teaching semester

Spring Semester 2008
Student Teaching Application Workshops

All applicants must attend one workshop

Dates to be announced 


STUDENT TEACHING APPLICATIONS

  1. Select your program from the list below.

  2. Click on the application.

  3. SELECT ALL from EDIT then COPY.

  4. Go to a blank Word document and PASTE the form into it.

    1. Check the formatting. Adjust page setup, pagination, spacing, etc. as needed.

  5. Complete the application.

    1. Incomplete or unprofessional applications will not be accepted, including:

      1. inappropriate formatting

      2. writing, spelling, or grammatical errors

  6. Obtain the signatures needed.

  7. Make the required number of copies.

  8. Submit to the CAFÉ Office.
