How to Find Tests in the Test Library

You may search the Library Catalog or use the Finding Aid.

Directions for using the Library Catalog:

  1. Search the library catalog for tests located in the Test Library.  Use the title keyword search and search by the acronym or full name of the test, for example, WAIS or Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale. 

  2. The record will say "sample test" if it is located in the test library.

  3. To list all the tests located in the test library, do a title keyword search and type "sample test".

Directions for using the Finding Aid:

   1.   The tests are divided into three categories, psychological tests, educational tests and
          business tests.  Click on a category for a complete listing of tests.

How to Check Out Tests From the Test Library

  • You must obtain a permission slip from your instructor.  Give the permission slip to the Circulation Desk.  The Circulation staff will pull the item.

Test Reviews Online
This site is a web-based service of the Buros Institute of Mental Measurements.  Test reviews are available exactly as they appear in the 9th through the most recent Mental Measurements Yearbooks.  For a small fee, users can download more specific information on any of the 2,000 tests.

Educational Testing Service or ETS Test Collection
The Test Collection Database contains descriptions of 20,000 tests and other measurement devices from the early 1990s to the present that reside in the Education Testing Service library.  Tests in Microfiche is a subset of the test collection and consists of 1,000+ tests.
