There are many resources available for finding grants.  Listed below are databases to assist you in finding the information you need:

Database Description

The Foundation Directory Online Professional

(available only on MSUB campus)

A comprehensive database of 80,000 grantmakers and half a million grants including a database of over 230,000 IRS 990s for private foundations, community foundations, and grantmaking public charities.

Foundation Grants to Individuals Online

(available only on MSUB campus & requires additional password)

Find sources for scholarships, fellowships, grants, awards, and other financial support with the online resource devoted exclusively to foundations that fund individuals.
GuideStar Connecting people with nonprofit information.
GrantSmart Contains 555,114 tax returns filed by 100,122 private foundations and charitable trusts.
Grants.gov Allows organizations to electronically find and apply for more that $400 billion in Federal grants.
