Ever wanted to be loud in a library and get
locked inside at night? During the 2nd annual Library
Lock-In a group of 4th, 5th, and 6th graders did just that
and enjoyed an overnight stay at the Montana State University
Billings Library, along with Eileen Wright, "the greatest and most
fun librarian on Eart
h!"
The lucky participants brought sleeping bags
and pillows. They watched movies in the Library's "personal" movie
theatre, ate popcorn and dots, played capture the flag in the
library, had a round or two of sardines, and don’t forget some
outdoor tag games and water balloon toss and race down the
waterfall.
There was pizza! There were some yummy muffins
for breakfast – just enough sugar
to
keep people going the next day.
Don't miss the 3rd Annual Library Lock-In,
coming in 2010!
