Kids on Campus @ MSUB I Think Camps

REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED BEGINNING MAY 1

FOR KIDS WHO ARE ABOVE AVERAGE IN THE CLASSROOM

I THINK LIKE A PROGRAMMER: LEGO Robots Level II
Using LEGO Mindstorms, students will advance their building and programming skills.  They will be expected to complete LEGO robot challenges with precision.
Monday – Friday, June 10 – 14 (2 – 6pm)
For kids who are above average in the classroom.
Kids entering grades 4 – 8 with qualifying grades
Fee: $329 per camper

I THINK LIKE A PROGRAMMER: Junior LEGO Robotics
Focused on building an interest in science and engineering, this hands-on camp will capture young children’s inherent curiosity and direct it toward discovering the possibility of improving the world around them.  A real-world challenge will be featured and students will be encouraged to solve it with critical thinking and imagination.
2 Saturdays, June 22nd and 29th (1 – 5pm)
For Kids who are above average in the classroom.
Kids entering 2nd and 3rd grades with qualifying grades
Fee: $189 per camper

INSTITUTO PER LA BELLA VOCE (INSTITUTE FOR THE BEAUTIFUL VOICE)
Led by internationally renowned vocalist Douglas Nagel, this camp is designed to better prepare middle and high school voice students to make a smooth transition into a collegiate music major.  Students will be immersed in an environment with individuals who share their like passion for beautiful music and performance, and make new friends, challenge their own creative boundaries and learn from artists with years of vocal experience.
Monday – Friday, June 24 – 28 (8:30am – 4:30pm)
Middle & High School music students – Audition required!
Fee:  $525 Camp w/ Lunches  / $675 (Dormitory-stay & all meals included)

Additional Information

I THINK LIKE A PROGRAMMER:  LEGO Robots Level I
Experience the fun of working with technology and science through the use of LEGO robotics!
Students will be introduced to LEGO Mindstorms and build and program LEGO robots.  Using their robots, students will complete different challenges. 
Monday – Friday, July 15 – 19 (9am – 3pm)
For kids who are above average in the classroom.
Kids entering grades 4 – 8 with qualifying grades
Fee: $329 per camper
