CAREER READINESS Session 2
This camp brings high school students and business volunteers together to tour local businesses. Students will see how businesses operate and gain an understanding of product development, marketing strategies and what it takes to compete in a global marketplace. In addition, students will have the opportunity to interact with guest speakers and participate in amazing team-building activities!
Monday – Thursday, August 5 - 8 (8:30am – 4:30pm)

SIZZLING SCIENCE SAMPLER
Explore a little bit of everything in this popular camp that covers…well…just about everything! Dry ice, dinosaur digs, air pressure…you name it, we’ll probably explore it in this great end-of-summer camp for kids who love experimenting with everything in their world!
Monday – Friday, August 5 – 9 (9am – 12Noon)
Ages: 8 – 12 years
Fee: $159 per camper
3 – 2 – 1 BLAST OFF!
Blast off into outer space with one of our most popular camps! Come and learn about rockets and the cool places they go while having fun. You get to design, make, and fly your own rockets along with learning about the solar system our world is in. You’ll also bring home your own replica of the solar system!
Tuesday – Thursday, August 6 – 8 (1 – 4pm)
Kids entering grades 1 - 3
Fee: $139 per camper
LET’S MAKE A FILM!! Session 3
Have you ever wanted to make your own movie? Perhaps you have already shot some footage on a camcorder or cell phone, but don’t know what to do next? Learn how to create a story and make it into a finished product on DVD that you’ll take home by the end of the week. Everyone will have the opportunity to contribute to every step of the process: scripting, storyboarding, location scouting, costumes/props, acting, filming and editing. Class is led by Scott Prinzing, of TV’s “Green Smarts with the Green Man” public service announcements!
