Project Description: The Upward Bound Program is a federally funded grant designed to prepare eligible high school students for success in college. During the six-week Summer Institute, participants live on-campus and are enrolled in integrated academic enrichment classes. Students experience various activities during the summer including, but not limited to, field trips, workshops, social and cultural activities. Dates of employment for all positions are from June 11, 2008 through July 25, 2008. Faculty will meet several times in April and May to begin planning. Background checks are required for all successful applicants.
Positions Available:
NIGHT FLOOR SUPERVISOR
The Night Floor Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the residence hall floor between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate should have completed a minimum of one year of college. Prefer candidates with experience in with residence life or other youth related programs. Salary: $8.00 – 10.00 depending on experience.
