POSITION: TRAINING COORDINATOR – “Energy for Tomorrow”

Montana State University Billings is the third largest University in Montana and is located in Montana’s largest city. DESCRIPTION: The Training Coordinator for the “Energy for Tomorrow” – Energy Workforce Training Center grant partnership will develop and facilitate training and development, learning initiatives, and training recommendations in specific disciplines. This individual will provide training expertise and serve as a liaison between MSU-Billings College of Technology, Dawson Community College and their industry partners. This position will work closely with grant partners including local Workforce Services to develop guiding principles and strategic direction for internal and external education that meets professional, business and client service needs. They will also select and supervise training staff and evaluate instructor performance. Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and determine subsequent training and development priorities. The Training Coordinator will provide consultation to management for development of job-specific training, including research, evaluation and selection of outside consultants and trainers. This position will also coordinate and manage Mobile Training Equipment for both the Energy for Tomorrow and WIRED grants.
