Lili Delgadillo and Amanda Hemmen joined 9 other players from MSUB’s women’s soccer team in earning recognition as members of the Academic All-Great Northwest Academic Conference Team.

Lili Delgadillo, completing her degree in Health and Human Performance, maintains a 3.94 grade point average, and she has played in five matches this year, making 22 saves and recording one shutout. Lili earned the Academic All-GNAC Award for the third successive year.

Amanda Hemmen is a junior finishing her degree in Biology while earning a 4.0 grade point average. Hemmen is one of only three other players in the conference to have a perfect GPA. The center back has started all 15 games and ranks second on the team with 1,282 minutes played. She has scored one goal this fall as well.

"It is truly remarkable that every player on our team who is eligible for this award has received it," said MSUB head coach Stephen Cavallo. "It speaks volumes on the type of people we have in our program and they are true student-athletes. The team dedicates so much of its free time towards studying and makes sure they are always on top of their school work. It is really impressive they are so successful with that, considering the amount of school we miss in the fall due to our travel schedule."
