Job Description:
Duties include but are not limited to: Assist the Dean's office: 1. Assist with specific tasks and assignments associated with NCATE accreditation preparation [i.e., electronic documents; web interface; data retrieval and entry into databases; consultant/review team arrangements; correspondence, etc.] 2. Assist in generating reports based on assessment data. 3. Draft and/or proof correspondence, articles, and reports as assigned. 4. Database design, data entry, graphing and database reports as assigned 5. Produce COE Newsletter. 6. Assist front office [telephone, student assitance, FAX, filing, photocopying, and other duties as assigned by Dean's Office staff].
 
Job Qualifications:
Required Skills: 1. PC/IBM compatible computer competence, including use of MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and FrontPage. Competence using MS ACCESS preferred. 2. Must meet deadlines with accuracy and speed and work with minimal supervision, both independently and as a team member. 3. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills required, including appropriate penmanship. Ability to communicate in an effective, positive, and friendly manner. 4. Demonstrated competence in organizing and completing multiple work assignments, meeting deadlines, adapting to changing priorities in a busy office setting, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. 5. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, and appropriately handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
