Garfield Community Literacy Center Project

Since July 2011 MSU Billings Extended Campus in partnership with the College of Education has been developing a neighborhood-based literacy center at the Garfield Center. Increased and improved literacy services are needed to assist MSUB in delivering education and workforce training to neighborhood residents. This project is undertaken with the support of the Montana Campus Compact which has provided MSUB with AmeriCorps VISTAs to assist with securing resources for the center and implementing literacy activities with College of Education faculty and students.
