Vantage Point posterTheodore Hampton’s thesis exhibition, Vantage Point, is comprised of a series of digital photographic prints and videos that examine how our experiences of the world are transformed and informed by the cinematic image.  Focusing on isolated subjects in simple environments, Hampton’s works draw attention to the ways in which technical choices in photography and film create visual interest, suggest narrative progression, and heighten our sense of reality.

Theodore Hampton is an art student from the Billings area working primarily in digital media.  Hampton will graduate in December with a BFA in Studio Art.

There will be a catered artist reception from 5–7pm on October 29th in the Montana State University Billings Outer Gallery located on the first floor of the Liberal Arts Building.

Gallery hours are 8am–4pm, Monday through Friday. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
