Transfer and Adult Learner Registration and Orientation 2014
Step 1 - Registration
Transfer students and adult learners should schedule an individual advising and registration appointment with the Advising Center at (406) 247-3019.
Adult Learners who are attending college for the first time will be required to take a COMPASS test prior to their individual appointment. Contact the Advising Center to schedule a group, individual, or remote test.
Transfer students who have not taken college level math and writing classes will need to take the COMPASS placement test. Contact the Advising Center to schedule a group, individual, or remote test. Transcripts from all previous institutions must be received prior to scheduling the individual advising appointment.
Step 2 - Orientation
At orientations, students will meet other students, learn more about services available at both City College and University campuses, and receive important computer training for online courses and on-campus computer access.
Dates for Adult Learner/Transfer Student Orientation:
- August 12
- August 15
Students sign up for these sessions during their individual advising appointment or online.
For the Online Learner
If you are pursuing your degree completely online, we understand you may not be able to come to campus. To register for classes or arrange a COMPASS placement test, please contact the Advising Center at (406) 247-3019 to schedule a phone or online appointment.
