What activities, clubs, or jobs are you involved in at MSUB?  

I am a senator with student government and am a campus tour guide. I am also a member of the Accounting Club, Honors Club, and Investment Club and am a part of the College of Business Student Advisory Board and Honors Student Advisory Board. I like to be active on campus because I love to add value to the communities I am a part of. I really love MSUB and the college experience the university offers and whatever I can do as a student to help benefit the campus I always try my best to accomplish. 

What have you learned about yourself from your time at MSUB?  

I have learned that I really like to be involved with anything I can on campus! 

Activities/clubs/jobs outside of MSUB?  

I am currently a marketing intern with Northwestern Mutual. My internship with Northwestern Mutual is entirely centered around MSUB. My job as a marketing intern focuses on creating a professional relationship with MSUB's College of Business and our company and I accomplish this by reaching out to professors and students on campus to inform them about our internships and full-time work opportunities and also how we as a company can add value to their courses by giving talks about the business industry. I am currently in the process of working with Career Services to receive college credit for this internship. 

What are your plans after you graduate?  

My plans after graduation are to move to New York City and begin working on Wall Street. I want to work on Wall Street because of the social impact and competitive nature of the industry. I am a person that loves to study and participate in financial markets and I believe that working with others who share my level of passion will make me a better person and allow me to collaborate with others in order to make positive economic changes for the world. I love the energy of New York City and the people — the nonstop activity motivates me to be competitive and produce my best work and the people are very friendly.
