Advocating for TUTORING
ETS & UB encourage all students to seek help when struggling in any
subject matter. Please try
to use the school resources available beginning with your classroom
teacher. Many schools offer
after school programs or special tutoring sessions including the ETS and
UB programs. If you
are struggling to find an adequate resource, please ask your TRiO
advisor for guidance.
In many of the high schools, ETS and UB have tutoring services
available. It is so
important to learn how to
communicate with your administrators, teachers, counselors, and
available school personnel for help.
The main goal of ETS & UB is
getting our students to college.
Grades are important in reaching that goal.
We strive to educate our students to advocate for themselves so
that when they get to
college they will be able to do the same.
This is such an important skill to obtain and
utilize now! Please
call the office or email your TRiO advisor if you should have questions
regarding tutoring (657-2116 or 657-2180).
