The
National Consortium on Leadership and Disability for Youth
(NCLD-Youth)
A youth-led resource, information, and training center
for youth and emerging leaders with developmental disabilities,
housed at the Institute for Educational Leadership and funded by
the Administration on Developmental Disabilities.

This is the website for the Montana Youth Leadership Forum, a

Girl Power
This link is for girls with chronic illness and disabilities.
There are nine area of focus: friends, express
yourself, body basics, doc talk, go surfing, girls in motion,
making the grade, family matters, and fun zone. It has a section
with girls stories.

This is the website for the ICAN
magazine. In this section you can read stories about celebrities,
authors, artists, and others with
disabilities. There is an inspirational section on Ms. Wheelchair
America, and there links
to over 100 bio’s.
The Edge
This
is a site for
learning about disability and gender equity. It is an online site
geared for the high school level.
Disability Resources
This site has hundreds of disability related links, a topic
of the week, site of the week, state of the week.
Accessible Society
Disability issues information for journalists. A communications
clearinghouse providing journalists credible information and
quotable sources on national disability policy and independent
living issues.
