Desire2Learn - Sharing ePortfolio Items

Please note that the instructions below describe how to share ePortfolio Collections, however, sharing Artifacts and Presentations works the same way.

1. In the "Welcome" widget or the "My Settings" widget, click on the "ePortfolio" link.

   

   Alternatively, if it's available, you can click on the ePortfolio link in the NavBar.

   

2. Next, click on the "Collections" link, under "Manage".

   

3. Click on the "Key" to the right of the Collection (or Artifact/Presentation) you wish to share.

   

4. On the page that comes up, click on "Add User".

   

5. Find your course that has the individuals that you wish to share this item with. Make sure you select the "Course Offering". Then click "Next".

   

6. Select the individuals you wish to share this item with and click "Next".

   

7. Assign permission to the individual(s) you wish to share this item with. At minimum, you should give them "View" permissions. Then click "Add"; if you wish you can send them an invite as well by clicking on "Add and Send Invite" instead.
