iMovie & Photoshop touch
iMovie and Photoshop Touch on your iPad, any generation will be fine: U=unlock the secrets of your new iPad HD. Learn how to use iMovie on your new iPad to produce short movies. The instructor, David Grubbs, photographer for the Billings Gazette uses iMovie on a daily basis to edit movies for the Billings Gazette.com website. David will teach you how to use this simple program to put together attractive movies of family gatherings or vacation footage in a fast and simple way. Sometimes these programs can be frustrating to try and learn on your own but this class will give you quick workflow ideas to put you at ease in making movies on your own. Shooting video with your iPad and iPhone and point and shoot cameras will a big part of the class. Next will be importing the videos into the iPad and stitching the video and audio together to make quick and simple movies. Impress your family members with a short video of the last vacation or build a quick movie for a work project in a snap. Classes will be Saturdays, all day. The classes will be held when there is events downtown like Farmers Markets and other small festivals. The students will use these events to shoot video and then bring what they shot into the classroom and edit it into a movie on their iPads. The instructor recommends all students have an iPads with them in class although not required.

QuickBooks Intermediate is designed for those who want to learn how to use some of the more advanced features available in QuickBooks. The class covers in-depth material on using accounts receivable and accounts payable, memorizing reports, creating and using budgets, using loan manager, and the basics of modifying templates. Recommended for those who take the morning "QuickBooks Getting Started" session.

QuickBooks Payroll
Save money by processing payroll in-house. Learn how to set up employees, payroll items, and choose payroll defaults. We will prepare payroll checks and the related federal and state payroll liability checks. Keep track of vacation and sick leave. The class also covers how to prepare computer generated quarterly and year end reports. This is a great follow-up for those taking “QuickBooks Getting Started” and/or “QuickBooks Intermediate” sessions.
