Diversity Appreciation Nomination Form
The Diversity Center is committed to providing a welcoming campus environment for all students. To accomplish this, the Diversity Center will foster social and professional opportunities, cross cultural training for staff members, and advocacy for any student that meets a minority sector by race, creed, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. The mission of this office is to ensure we are meeting the various needs of all students through fair and equal representation and opportunity.
Please nominate a staff, faculty, or student that has shown leadership in spreading diversity on campus or has begun their journey of promoting inclusion and social justice. This may mean attending training functions with diversity focus, helping minority students with specific issues they face, or using their voice to advocate for acceptance and equal treatment of all members of our campus community.
NOTE: Nominations are welcome any time. Nominees will be reviewed and the selected person will be presented with an award at the end of every month.
