Montana State CSPD Council
The Montana CSPD Council, comprised of members from the
stakeholder groups listed below, coordinates, evaluates,
reviews, and recommends action for all aspects of
preservice, technical assistance, and inservice
education and development offered to Montana’s
educators, related service personal, families, and other
team members responsible for implementing the
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Region III CSPD
The Montana State CSPD Council has developed five
regional CSPD Councils, due to Montana’s vast geographic
area, to implement the state strategic plan. The Region
III CSPD Council also comprised of the stakeholders
listed below, provides services for the following
counties: Big Horn, Carbon, Fergus, Golden Valley,
Judith Basin, Musselshell, Petroleum, Stillwater, Sweet
Grass, Wheatland and Yellowstone. Council member
responsibilities include: understanding and promoting
the Montana CSPD vision and mission; representing their
stakeholder group; becoming familiar with the IDEA
regulations; attending regional and/or state meetings,
reporting CSPD activities and discussion to the their
stakeholder group and regional council; assisting in the
implementation of the regional and or state CSPD
strategic plan; and assisting in the development of and
implementation of regional and or state activities.
