Paraeducator of the Year Award
Diana Hanson
Castle Rock Middle School, Billings

Diana makes a difference in the lives of our special needs students by advocating and truly caring about their well being and success in our society. She is very caring and has a calming presence among our students and yet they show her respect because she expects them to follow rules and be responsible for their behavior and actions. She has a passion for the students she serves and it is easily seen by the staff in our building.

Diana Hanson receives Paraeducator of the Year award.

Paraeducator/ Teacher Team of the Year
Kris Nelson, Georgia Juhl, Tammy Rangitsch, Deb Jordan, Bev Ray, Jeanne Buckley, and Roberta Hagstrom
Roundup Central Elementary School

My experience with the Title One program at Roundup Central School has been very impressive. My son required extra help and Title One stepped in at the beginning of the year and provided the extra help he needed. By the end of the year my son felt like a success and was confident in his ability to read and understand math. Way to go Roundup Title One!

Yes I Can! Award Winner / Athletics Category
Kyle Bergendahl
Billings

Kyle's social and learning skills have taken a huge leap of progress this year! He is now able to greet individuals and tell them his name with the use of a communication device. His progress has been outstanding and has helped transform him from a reclusive, confused, and frustrated boy to a happy, socializing individual.
