This web page lists the completion dates and deadlines for students applying to the clinical semesters of the Radiologic Technology Program for the fall semester of 2013.
These dates are subject to change.
Hospital site visits: Site visits will start at St. Vincent Healthcare and Billings Clinic hospitals starting in February, 1 through May 9, 2013. Return to the previous page and click the Site Visit Scheduling Procedure link and follow the instructions. Signed documentation of your site visit and answers to your site visit questions must accompany your application.
May 10, 2013 You must complete the Montana Career Information System (MCIS) career assessment tool no later than 3:00 p.m. on May 10, 2013, as part of the application process. Instructions for completing the MCIS are located on the Montana Career Information (MCIS) link on the previous web page.
May 17, 2013: Applications for Radiologic Technology must be submitted not later than 4:00 p.m. on May 17, 2013. Mailed applications must be postmarked May 17, 2013. Radiologic Technology applications can be turned in to Mick Ender, College of Technology campus, Health Sciences Building room 200; Jeanie Ullman, Health Sciences Building, room 226; or the office staff at the MSU-Billings City College tech building. Official school transcripts must be included with your application for those students that are not currently enrolled at MSU-Billings or MSU-Billings College of Technology. For students that have just completed approved pre-requisite courses at another institution, a faxed or unofficial copy of the 2013 spring semester transcripts, or an e-mailed grade from your instructor, must be received by May 20, 2013 in order to receive point credit in Phase 1. Your official transcript must also be received by May 23, 2013.
May 20-24, 2013: Totaling of points for Phase I of the application process for all applicants is tentatively planned to occur between May 20 and May 24, 2013.
May 27, 2013: Notification of acceptance and non-acceptance for a personal interview (Phase II of the selection process) will be sent to the applicants by May 27, 2013. Notification will be sent by e-mail and by letter from the contact information provided in your application. If your e-mail address, street address or phone number change, notify Jeanie Ullman and Mick Ender as soon as possible in order that you receive notice to schedule your interview. All Phase II interviews will be scheduled by Jeanie Ullman by calling (406) 247-3077 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Your interview must be scheduled by 3:30 p.m. on June 4, 2013.
May 30, 2013: If you have not received a notification of acceptance or non-acceptance for a Phase II interview by May 30, 2013, call Jeanie Ullman (406) 247-3077 and Mick Ender (406) 247-3086 to verify your status.
June 4, 2013: If you have been accepted for a Phase II interview, you must schedule your interview date and time with Jeanie Ullman at (406) 247-3077 by 3:30 p.m. MST on June 4, 2013. It is the applicant's responsibility to determine if you have been accepted for an interview and to schedule a time for an interview by the given deadline. Any student who does not schedule an interview by 3:30 p.m. on June 4, 2013 will not be considered for the program and another student will be selected for an interview. Therefore, it is imperative that we have your current telephone, address information and e-mail address.
Interviews are TENTATIVELY scheduled for June 11, 12 and 13 or June 18, 19 & 20, 2013: As soon as the dates are confirmed by the Radiologic Technology Intervew Committee, the final dates for interviews will be posted on this web page. Interview dates and times will be granted on a first come, first serve basis.
