Hello!
I'm Julie
McDade and I teach COMT 109 Human Relations, WRIT 180 Editing for
Business Writing, and
WRIT 104 Workplace Communications.
Background
I am a
graduate of MSU-Bozeman (1976) BA Speech Communication and Eastern
Montana
College (1980) MS Education. I began teaching adults and college
students in 1979.
I have taught on the main campus in the English, Education, and
Communication/Theater departments. I began teaching part-time here
at the COT in
1997 after spending 18 years at the Billings Adult Education Center
teaching language arts.
Personal
I grew up in
Missoula, Montana. I have family
in Helena. My husband works at the Billings ConocoPhillips Refinery.
We have four cats, and we like to travel.

Expect From Students
My syllabi clearly lay out
what you need to do to get an A. In all my classes you will see a
day-by-day schedule of topics and due dates.
