We Have the Tools to Ensure Your Success

Dr. Timothy WilkinsonLet me be the first to welcome you to our community of students, faculty, and staff in the College of Business (COB) at Montana State University Billings.  With more than 120,000 people in Yellowstone County, Billings is the largest city in the upper Rocky Mountain region.  Given our close working relationship with numerous businesses, we like to think of Billings as the school’s “business laboratory.”

The College of Business recently achieved accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).  This means that the COB meets the same high accreditation standards as business schools such as the University of Colorado, the University of Wyoming, and Arizona State University. Classes are small (usually about 20 students) and emphasize one-on-one communication between professors and students. Our award winning faculty has a wealth of business experience with companies such as Qwest Communications, Chevron, and General Electric.

The COB is distinctive because the curriculum is integrated and includes practical business experiences.  The courses have been carefully constructed so that each course builds on what has been learned in previous courses. Students earn a degree in business administration, with options in specialized areas such as accounting, finance, management, and marketing. This approach to education increases the marketability of our graduates. Please give me a call (406-657-2134) or send an email (timothy.wilkinson@msubillings.edu) if you would like to learn more about the College of Business.
