Pre-Festival Workshop

On Saturday, March 27, the Montana State University Billings Department of Music will host a Pre-Festival Workshop – a day when area music students planning to participate in the District Solo and Ensemble Festival are invited to come and perform their pieces for the Montana State University Billings music faculty and receive comments and coaching. 

• The Pre-Festival Workshop is open to both instrumental and vocal students.

• The coaching sessions will begin at 9:00 am.

• Pre-registration is required and must be completed by Friday, March 19. After registration closes a schedule will be sent to you.

• The sessions are free of charge and are open to directors as well as students.
