Career Events and On-Campus Recruiting

1. Log in to CareerLink* *If you have not previously registered, choose “Click here to register” beneath the log-in.  Your profile will be reviewed within 48 hours.  When you receive a confirmation email, you will have access to Career Events.

2. Go to “Career Events”  to view the events list.

3. Click "Register" next to the event you wish to attend.

4. Complete the online form & "submit" to send it to our office.

5. When you receive your invoice via email, you may pay by sending a check to Career Services or by calling 406-657-2168 to pay with a credit card.

Registration Policy:  All employers must give 48 hours' notice to cancel an event registration.  No refunds will be issued.

Advertise your business to new & returning students, and recruit students for part-time jobs at Yellowjacket Market. This newly expanded event is your first opportunity to meet new & returning MSU Billings students.  Registration closes August 27, 2008.
Tuesday, Oct 28, 2008	TechExpo 2008 Attend this NEW event at College of Technology to meet students earning Associate degrees or Certificates in Business, Industry, Computer Technology, Transportation, Nursing & Health Occupations, and Safety. Registration opens in CareerLink on June 1, 2008 and closes on Sept. 15.
Thursday, Feb 12, 2009	Career Fitness Fair Hosted by MSU Billings and Rocky Mountain College, this annual event draws over 600 students interested in internship and career opportunities.  This event is also open to the public. Registration opens in CareerLink on Sept. 1, 2008 and closes on December 15.
Friday, April 24, 2009	Teacher Recruitment Interviews Meet BA/BS and MA/MS grads from MSU Billings as well as alumni & grads from other Montana campuses! Registration opens in CareerLink on February 1, 2009 and closes April 15.
On-Campus Recruiting
From October through April, arrange on-campus visits through CareerLink, our online service. Information Tables Employers registered in CareerLink may schedule information tables in high-traffic areas once per campus per semester.  Please call 657-2168 to make arrangements.  On-Campus Interviews Use CareerLink to request interview schedules that match your vacancies, view candidates’ online résumés, and reserve private interview rooms.  Schedule your campus visits well in advance so we may publicize the interviews to attract a good choice of candidates.
