        Cherry Creek Radio is a member of the Career Services Employer Partnership Program (EPP) at the Platinum level.  For the last 3 years Cherry Creek Radio has worked to establish a strong relationship with MSUB’s Career Services.

When the Employer Partnership Program was launched on July 1, 2008, CCR did not have a doubt that the program was going to be an asset to its marketing strategy. When Augie Aga, Billings Station Manager, was asked why CCR joined the Employer Partnership Program, he said, “Because Pat was looking for ways to promote career fairs and we were trying to get students to know us, so it is a perfect partnership.”

Patricia Reuss, Career Services Director, and the Career Services Advisory Board developed this innovative program, the goal of which is to bring students and employers closer.  This new annual partnership allows employers to choose Silver, Gold, or Platinum levels of participation and corresponding opportunities for campus visibility. 

Cherry Creek Radio is a small private radio group that owns radio stations in the western part of the US. In Billings Cherry Creek Radio has four stations:  News Talk 910 KBLG, Y93.3 KYYA Hot AC, 94.1 KRKX Classic Rock/AOR, and The Zone 96.3 KRZN New Rock.  According to Augie, Cherry Creek Radio is a great place to work. “We believe in our people. For us people are assets, and when we turn the lights off our assets go home,” Augie explained.

Cherry Creek Radio continuously offers career opportunities in full-time advertising and sales positions, plus others like DJ or various part-time openings. In his interview, Augie said, “The biggest misconception people have about radio is that, overall, radio is a media that is dying.  Radio will always be listened to everywhere--in workplaces, cars, the gym, or dorm rooms."
