Billings Area Reentry Task Force - Developing a new path, new life for femaile offenders in the Billings region

Our Mission

The mission of the Billings Area Reentry Task Force is to facilitate and implement a coordinated approach for female offenders that will equip them with the skills, understanding, as well as impetus to pursue a pathway for successful reentry into the Billings community and their personal family situations.  Our shared goal is that these efforts will reduce recidivism, support victims and promote public safety.

Why We Were Established

The Billings Area Reentry Task Force was established in summer 2009 to address the challenges facing female offenders who are incarcerated, in prerelease and/or under correctional supervision in the Billings area.  The Task Force is committed to reducing the recidivism of female offenders by 50% as well as working to establish a pre and post-release community service network to assist in reentry and also ensure public safety.
