Women’s Soccer Lands Four on NSCAA Scholar All-West Region Team
BILLINGS, Mont. – Four Montana State Billings women’s soccer players have been named to the 2009 NSCAA Scholar All-West Region Team. Three Yellowjackets were named to the first team and one earned honorable mention honors.
Named to the first team were junior defender Samantha Boehm who carried a 3.62 grade point average in public relations, junior midfielder Kari Forman who has a 3.53 grade point average in public relations and senior forward Chelsea Libby who carried a 3.46 grade point average in health and human performance.
Junior midfielder Carly Valentine was named to the honorable mention team with a 3.62 grade point average in human services.
All four of these student-athletes were named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete team this season, too. Boehm was named third team CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII.
In the college division the four Yellowjackets were the only representation from the GNAC.
