Women’s Soccer Tenth in Initial NCAA Division II West Region Poll

BILLINGS, Mont. – The Montana State Billings women’s soccer team is ranked tenth in the first NCAA Division II West Region Poll, announced Wednesday.

Seattle Pacific leads the poll with a 10-1 record.  Cal State-Los Angeles is second with a 10-2-2 mark, while Chico State is third in the initial poll with a 7-2-3 record.  Western Washington is seventh with a 5-2-2 record after upsetting SPU last week.  The Yellowjackets enter the poll with a 6-4-1 record and a 5-4-1 record in in-region play. 

MSUB hosts Northwest Nazarene Thursday at 4 p.m. at Yellowjacket Field.  The Yellowjackets look to get back on the winning track and avenge a 4-3, heartbreaking, overtime loss at NNU earlier this season.  The Yellowjackets then head across town to Rocky for the Eighth Annual Rimrock Cup Sunday at 12 p.m. at Wendy’s Field.
