Ryan and Stanhope Named to GNAC Academic All-Conference List
SPOKANE, Wash. – Montana State University Billings junior Kayla Ryan and sophomore Kalli Stanhope were two of 44 student-athletes to be named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference list the conference office announced on Wednesday. Ryan earned the award for a second time, while Stanhope was a first time selection.
“This is a great honor for Kayla and Kalli,” said head MSUB women’s basketball coach, Kevin Woodin. “The award shows their dedication and achievement in the classroom as well as on the basketball court.”
Ryan, a Big Timber, MT native, is an Education major with a 3.93 GPA. Stanhope is a Glendive, MT native with a 3.53 GPA in Psychology.
To be eligible for the academic team, student-athletes must earn a letter, have a minimum grade point average of 3.20 and be completing at least their second year of eligibility at their university.
