Bauer Invitational for Track and Field Cancelled

BILLINGS, Mont. – Due to the high winds combined with the low temperatures and a possibility of horizontal precipitation, the Bauer Invitational on Saturday, March 27th in Rapid City, S.D., has been cancelled the SD School of Mines announced Thursday afternoon. The Montana State Billings men’s and women’s track and field team was scheduled to participate at the meet after having a three week layoff.

This is the second consecutive year that the Bauer Invitational has been cancelled. In the school’s release, the event is planned to take place on the same weekend in 2011.

The Yellowjackets will now return to the track next Friday and Saturday, April 2 and 3, at the Al Manuel Invitational at the University of Montana in Missoula.
