Men’s Tennis Regionally Ranked
BILLINGS, Mont. – The Montana State Billings men’s tennis program has reached a new level this season, earning a number five ranking in the initial NCAA Men’s Tennis Central Region Ranking. The Yellowjackets currently sit in fifth spot with a 2-9 record in regional play.
MSUB is coming off a weekend where they went 2-2 with wins over Colorado College and Metro State. The Yellowjackets had losses to Mesa State and Western New Mexico as they opened Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. The Jackets sit at 1-2 in the RMAC and have matches scheduled this week with Colorado Christian, CSU-Pueblo and Nebraska-Kearney.
Western New Mexico leads the regional rankings with a 10-4 in-region ranking, followed by Mesa State, Nebraska-Kearney, St. Cloud State, MSUB, Metro State, Minnesota State-Mankato and CSU-Pueblo.
