SPOKANE, Wash. – Montana State Billings junior forward, Chris Andre, has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week for men’s soccer, the conference office announced Monday. This is Andre’s first weekly honor and fourth of the season for the Yellowjackets.

Against Saint Martin’s, Andre helped lead the Yellowjackets to a 1-0 victory on Saturday and the fourth shutout of the season. With the win, the Yellowjackets improved to 7-2-1 overall and 2-0-1 in the conference, while grabbling the early lead in the GNAC race.
For the season, Andre is tied for the team lead in assists with five and the goal against WWU was his first of the season. He also is tied for the lead in assists in the league. Andre is one of five Yellowjackets to play and start all 10 games.
