Yellowjacket Men’s Golf Adds Two More
BILLINGS, Mont. – Montana State Billings men’s golf coach, Shawn O’Brien, announced the addition of Jason Dunfee and Nick Storti for the 2010 season.
“Jason is a great addition to our men’s golf team,” O’Brien said. “I anticipate him coming in and having an opportunity to contribute this spring.”
Dunfee, a native of Kalispell, Montana, attended Flathead High School where he was an Academic All-State selection in football and was on the honor roll. He was the Buffalo Hills Golf Club junior champion four times and boasts a 0.6 handicap.
“I chose MSUB for the atmosphere around the university and the exceptional golf team,” Dunfee said. “I really enjoyed talking with Coach O’Brien and overall it seems like a good fit for me.”
Storti, a native of Lake Dallas, Texas, played and lettered in golf all four years at Liberty Christian High School where he was an all-district and all-region selection from 2005-2008. He also was an all-state selection in 2007 and 2008.
“Nick will also be a great addition to our golf program,” O’Brien said. “Nick is a well-rounded, polite young man who has a bright future.”
Storti helped lead his team to a fifth place finish and two state championship finishes during his high school career. He then played at Western Texas College in Synder, Texas, where he redshirted last year.
