Baseball Doubleheader versus Bemidji State Cancelled
BILLINGS, Mont. – The first of two non-conference baseball doubleheaders versus Bemidji State have been cancelled due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions, Montana State Billings head baseball coach Chris Brown announced Friday afternoon.
The teams will play two nine-inning games tomorrow beginning at 1 p.m. at Dehler Park. The four-game series originally was slated for four seven inning contests with the first doubleheader scheduled for Friday at 4 p.m. and the second Saturday at 1 p.m.
Saturday’s games will be the final home games for six Yellowjacket seniors who will be honored prior to the first pitch. The 2010 MSUB baseball senior class includes: Cody Clark; Brian Dukart; Chris Round; Matt Schoonover; Ty Sobieraj and Patch Wirtzberger.
The Yellowjackets conclude the regular season at Central Washington May 7-8 in Ellensburg, Washington.
