Women’s Golf Finishes Sixth at Warrior Invitational
CLARKSTON, Wash. – The Montana State Billings women’s golf team finished sixth at the Warrior Invitational Tuesday with a 36-hole team score of 719. University of Victoria won the event with a score of 660.
Victoria narrowly defeated Concordia by seven strokes to take the title. Host Lewis-Clark State finished third (683), followed by Rocky Mountain (695) and Seattle University (701) to round out the top five.
Victoria’s Anne Balser took home medalist honors carding a 158 score for two rounds (77-81). Concordia had two players tied for second and one from Lewis-Clark state with 163 scores.
MSUB was led by Lindsey Erickson who shot a 167 (85-82). Libby Rutz fired a two round score of 180. Amy Nordeen was right behind with a 181, followed by Breanna Magness at a 191 and Erin Heaney at a 202.
