Jackets Get Swatted By Wolves

BILLINGS, Mont. – Western Oregon showed no love to Montana State Billings with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-19) win Saturday night. The Jackets are back in conference action, Thursday, Oct. 2, taking on Northwest Nazarene. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
Western Oregon sizzled the net for a .365 hitting percentage but the match was closer than that. The Yellowjackets followed a familiar attack plan. They would battle tough at the beginning of each game, let the Wolves get four to five points in a row and then trade off points until the end.
For Montana State Billings (3-14, 0-4 GNAC) Devon Crotteau had 11 kills while Jennifer Boe smashed home nine shots. Rosey Falemaka had a solid night with two service aces and four blocks.
For Western Oregon (10-1, 3-0 GNAC), Stacey Bennett had 11 kills and hit .556 while Sylvia Herrold had two service aces.
