The Saints Go Marching by the Yellowjackets

LACEY, Wash. – Saint Martin’s grounded out a 3-1 (25-16, 17-25, 25-20, 25-22) volleyball win over Montana State Billings, Thursday night. The Yellowjackets were three points away from forcing a fifth game, however the Saints scored six straight points to end the match. MSUB remains on the road, Saturday, Oct. 11, taking on Western Oregon. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
For the Yellowjackets (5-16, 2-6 GNAC), Devon Crotteau had 18 kills and season-highs of 19 digs and four service aces to spark the attack. Jennifer Boe had 17 digs and Jill Trabing came away with 15 digs. Rosey Falemaka had a solid blocking night with four block assists. Crotteau’s four aces gives her 83 in her career, which moves her into eighth place.
For Saint Martin’s (3-11, 1-5 GNAC), Nicole Ostlund had 10 kills while Shealun Campisi and Malia Ibarra had 11 digs each.
