Six Yellowjackets Earn Academic All-GNAC Honors in Track
BILLINGS, Mont. – Montana State Billings had a total of six athletes named to the Academic All-GNAC team. To be eligible for the academic team, student-athletes must have a minimum grade point average of 3.20 and be in at least their second year of competition at their university. They must also qualify to compete in either the GNAC Indoor or Outdoor championship meet.
Noah Vallincourt was the lone honoree for the men’s team. He has a 3.35 GPA in history. For the women, Katie Thiel had the highest GPA with a 3.81 in nursing. Joining her was Rachel Hansen (3.42 – Biology), Sarah Jackson (3.78 – Rehabilitation Counseling), Kacie Vanderloos (3.31 – Elementary and Special Education) and Malori Woodford (3.25 – Spanish).
