Yellowjackets Set To Close Regular Season
BILLINGS, Mont. – Montana State Billings’ tennis teams enter the final week of the regular season as they head to Denver to take on Western New Mexico, Thursday, Apr. 23 at 9:30 a.m. MSUB will then stay in Denver, Fri.-Sat., Apr. 24-25 to compete in the RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) Championships.
For the men (3-4 RMAC, 6-14), the Yellowjackets are coming off two straight wins over Nebraska-Kearney on Apr. 18. They are currently tied for fourth in the RMAC with Mesa State. Regardless of the outcome of the final RMAC match, MSUB will play Mesa State, Fri., Apr. 24, at 8:00 a.m., in the first round of the RMAC Championships.
The women (6-1 RMAC, 12-9) have clinched the number two seed. Ana Juarez has the best record at No. 3 Singles at 13-4 while Ling Chan is second at No. 1 Singles at 11-6. The Yellowjackets will play Colorado Christian, Fri., Apr. 24, at 11:00 a.m., in the first round of the RMAC Championships.
