Moore Named GNAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

BILLINGS, Mont. -  Once again, Montana State Billings has won a Player of the Week award in the GNAC.   Lisa Moore was named GNAC Pitcher of the Week for Mar. 23.  This is the fifth time this season an MSUB player has been honored and the first for Moore.

Moore had a solid week pitching against University of Mary and Central Washington.  She was 2-0, gave up 10 hits, three runs, walked eight and struck out 18 for a 1.17 ERA in 18 innings.  Moore pitched in three games and held her opponents to hitting .167.

Moore struck out 11 batters in an 8-2 win over the University of Mary on Mar. 18.  Against Central Washington on Mar. 22, she gave up three hits and struck out three in an 3-1 win.
