Conder and Stacks Share GNAC Honors
BILLINGS, Mont. - For the third time this season, Montana State Billings has a GNAC Softball Player of the Week. Terina Stacks was named player of the week while Kasie Conder shared pitching honors with Stephanie Albrecht of Western Oregon. This is the second time this season that Stacks has won the award.
Conder pitched her team to a 6-0 win on Friday, Mar. 6 against Western Washington. She gave up three hits with one walk and struck out four batters. The Vikings had been hitting .383 heading into the game. Conder’s shutout started a run of 20 consecutive scoreless innings against WWU.
Stacks helped her team win three out of four games from Western Washington and move into first place in the GNAC. She had one double and one home run, scored two runs, drove in three runs, had a slugging percentage of .769, an on-base percentage of .462 and hit .462 (6-of-13). Stacks had a three-run home run in game two (Mar. 6), that sealed the win over WWU. She also handled 40 chances without an error.
