Stacks and Tsatsa Earn GNAC Honors

TURLOCK, Calif. -  Montana State Billings swept the GNAC Softball Player of the Week awards for Feb. 9.  Terina Stacks and Rebekah Tsatsa were named Player and Pitcher of the week respectively.  The duo helped the Yellowjackets go 3-1 at the Best of the West Invitational, Feb. 7-8.

Stacks hit .385 (5-for-13) with a double and a home run, scored two runs and drove in five runs.  She had a slugging percentage of .692 and extended her hitting streak to eight games.

Tsatsa went 1-1 and gave up 10 hits, four runs, three earned and struck out 21 batters in 16 innings for a 1.69 ERA.  She struck out a career high 12 batters and gave up three hits in an 11-0 win over Davis & Elkins.
