Yellowjackets Earn Academic Honors
BILLINGS, Mont. - Montana State Billings can win on and off the softball field. The Yellowjackets had five players named to the Academic All-GNAC team. To be eligible, players had to have at least a 3.20 GPA and be of sophomore or higher eligibility.
MSUB and Northwest Nazarene had the most players with five each. Central Washington had four, Western Washington had two and Western Oregon had one. Liz Wallace of Central Washington had the highest GPA at 3.94.
Steph Gosselin, Terina Stacks and Bekah Tsatsa were named to the team for the second time each. Tsatsa had the highest GPA for the Jackets with a 3.50 in Health and Human Performance. Stacks had a 3.48 in Math Education and Gosselin has a 3.45 in Health and Human Performance.
Making all-academic for the first time was Leslie Davis and Kelly Parsons. Davis has a 3.36 in Health and Human Performance while Parsons has a 3.20 in Management.
