Men’s and Women’s Soccer Games to be Web Streamed Friday
BILLINGS, Mont. – The men’s and women’s soccer games between Montana State Billings and Western Washington will be streamed live on the internet Friday, Montana State Billings Director of Athletics, Dr. Gary Gray, announced Wednesday.
The women’s game begins at 1 p.m. against nationally ranked Western Washington at the College of Technology Field and will be the first MSUB soccer game webcast in school history. Following the women’s game, the men also will play Western Washington and it would be webcast beginning at approximately 3:30 p.m. It will be the first time that the men’s game has been streamed at home as well. Earlier this season, MSUB’s game at the University of Mary was streamed live.
The idea of web streaming soccer games has been in the works for much of the season and all home men’s and women’s soccer games are scheduled to be streamed live on the internet in 2009. MSUB streams all home volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball games now.
Fans can access the FREE live stream by logging on to www.msubillings.edu/athletics and click on live broadcasts for more information.
Friday marks the regular season home finale for both the men’s and women’s teams. The women stand a 9-8 overall and 4-5 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, while the men are 9-6 and 2-3 in conference play.
