Bunker Named GNAC Player of the Week

BILLINGS, Mont. – Travis Bunker has been named GNAC Player of the Week for January 4.  This is the second time this season a Yellowjacket has won the award.  Michael Hall won the award for the week of Nov. 17.

Bunker averaged 14.5 points, 9 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2 steals per game in helping his team to pair of victories.  Bunker played 79 minutes in the two games and turned the ball over just twice with 11 assists.

He had 20 points, nine rebounds and three steals in a 74-58 win over Great Falls on Dec. 31.  Bunker keyed a second half turnaround by pulling down eight boards in that half.

Two days later, Bunker had a solid all-around effort in a 76-69 win over Chadron State.  He had nine points, nine rebounds and seven assists.  All of Bunker’s rebounds were defensive boards.
