Yellowjackets Run Well in Missoula

MISSOULA, Mont. – Montana State University Billings had strong performances at the Montana Invitational, Saturday morning. The men scored 154 points to finish fifth (8K) while the women scored 190 points to place sixth (5K). The Yellowjackets return home to compete in the Yellowjacket Invitational, Satuday, Oct. 11. The race is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m.
For the men, Taylor Canfield and Travis Hutchinson paced each other as they finished 27th (29:32) and 28th (29:35), respectively. Rounding out the top five was Kelley Miller (30th – 29:53), Tyson Vanderby (33rd – 30:16) and Scott Flatlip (36th – 31:14).
Sarah Jackson was the top Yellowjacket as she ran 20:36 to finish in 33rd place. Rounding out the top five was Dianna Stanley (34th – 20:46), Cierra Dornfeld (38th – 21:37), Katie Thiel (41st – 21:44) and Mykel Ler (44th – 21:51).
